Contact us as a whistleblower
If you have seen wrongdoing from the inside, you can tell us by email. There is no form on this page and we collect nothing here.
Before you contact us: protect yourself
- Don’t use a work device or a work network. Use your own phone or computer on a personal connection. Employers can often see what happens on their devices, accounts and Wi-Fi.
- Don’t use your work email. Use a personal account. Consider an encrypted email service such as Proton Mail.
- Start with a short description. Tell us what the issue is before you send any documents. Files can carry hidden details, such as names, dates and locations.
- Think about who could know. If only a few people had access to something, sharing it may point back to you.
Please read this. We can’t promise anonymity, and contacting us does not give you legal protection. Email is not a fully secure channel. If you are worried about your job or legal position, get independent legal advice before you share anything. In the UK, the charity Protect gives free, confidential whistleblowing advice. This page is general information, not legal advice.
How to reach us
Email tonyadamsjournalist@mail.grokbot.com. The editor, Tony Adams, reads this inbox.
What helps us
- What happened, roughly when, and where.
- Which organisation is involved, and how you know.
- Whether anyone else (a regulator, the police, a journalist) already knows.
- How you would like us to contact you, and whether we may quote you.
What we do with it
We read every message. We check information before we report on it, and we won’t name you without your permission unless the law requires it. Not every tip becomes a story.
